This wine delivers a complex array of flavours of red and dark current berries, beautiful sweet aromas of violets and blueberries layered by hints of liquorice and pepper. The pallet has a refined taste with balanced acidity and tannins.
Fermentation with up to 30% whole bunch took place in open top fermenters. Soft techniques were used to extract colour, fruit and tannin. The wine was aged a further 10 months in seasoned French oak barrels, cask and foudres.
